I once saw a post on here that said always send your resume in PDF format and that’s when I knew people had no idea what the fuck they were talking about.
You always send a Word doc. Most hiring managers have no idea what the fuck Reader is, but they always have Word for some odd reason even though Adobe Reader is free and Microsoft Word is not.
You can make a Word readable resume using Google Docs if you didn’t “buy” Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office’s website has resume and CV templates you can copy. There’s ones for Google Docs online if you search.
Do not use a PDF unless they specifically ask for one. I guarantee you will not hear back from that job.
